  • AMPHILECTIN liquid is specially designed liquid acting as a powerful growth promoter and immune-stimulant agent for poultry. It combines unique group of ingredients that act synergistically to enhance growth of poultry and to guard against a variety of infectious diseases.
  • AMPHILECTIN liquid contains mushroom Lectin which has recently gained significant attention in medical research because of its immune-enhancing effects and their demonstrated potential in promoting health. Lectins are carbohydrate-binding proteins or glycoproteins of non-immune origins with the ability to induce cell agglutination.
  • Studies demonstrate that lectin can be an effective growth promoting and immunostimulant agent in poultry during coccidiosis. It is known that supplementation of mushroom or herb extracts, or both, in the poultry diet results in enhancement of resistance to Eimeria tenella probably by enhancing both cellular and humoral immune responses against E. tenella in chickens.
  • Several studies demonstrate the ability of mushrooms to influence body weight of broiler chickens and show an immune enhancement via the bursa of Fabricius.
  • AMPHILECTIN liquid also includes Yucca Schidigera that is well-known with its important role to reduce ammonia gas emission from broiler litter and increase the bird’s performance and improve production and carcass characteristics.
  • Yucca contains saponins, acting as membrane-permeability enhancer, immune-stimulant and hypo-cholesterolemic with a significant affect as growth promoter. Yucca Schidigera is also known by its positive effect on feed conversion ratio (FCR) in poultry. It is reported that the efficiency of feed utilization is significantly better with addition of Yucca to poultry feed. The broilers exposed to the low concentration of ammonia showed the highest feed efficiency. Also, carcass characteristics (eviscerated weight percentage, breast meat and thigh yield) were significantly higher in Yucca treated birds.
  • AMPHILECTIN liquid is characterized by its inclusion of nucleotide as one of its essential components. Nucleotide supplementation is very important in broiler industry especially for growing broilers allowing much faster growth and enabling broiler chick to reach marketing weight at earlier age as a result of early and rapid development of intestinal tract and mature villi. Nucleotides act by increasing villi length, therefore, leading to increased surface area of absorption which results in improved digestion and absorption of nutrients.
  • Dietary supplementation of nucleotides helps in the growth of rapidly dividing cells without the expense of more energy and thereby increase the productivity in birds. It is also reported that provision of nucleotide in diet is necessary to maintain maximum growth performance when birds are reared under environmental stress conditions. Dietary nucleotide supplementation results in improvement in body weight gain and FCR.
  • AMPHILECTIN liquid contains also, Beta Glucan (From Saccharomyces Cerevisiae cell wall extract). β-glucans, derived from fungi and yeast, have been shown to be beneficial as dietary supplements. β-Glucan supplementation has been shown to increase immune responses in poultry by increasing the production of new immunocytes as well as increasing the phagocytic function of macrophages. They also increase the phagocytic, bactericidal killing and oxidative burst of heterophils in broiler chicks. β-Glucan has also been shown to enhance immune response by altering the cytokine profiles of chickens. β-Glucans, therefore, may provide a tool for producers trying to reduce or eliminate the use of antibiotics in poultry diets. Supplementation with β-glucans has also been shown to be beneficial in protection from mycotoxins. In addition, inclusion of β-glucans in vaccines, may enhance the immune response they elicit.
  • It has been reported that feeding day-old chicks with purified β-glucan significantly decreased the levels of Salmonella Enteritidis (SE), a potential human pathogen, in the liver and spleen.
  • Beta glucan administration results in reduction in the ceca of hens that can impact levels of Salmonella Enteritidis shed to the environment and thus reduce the potential of Salmonella Enteritidis contamination of the eggshell.
  • Supplementation of β-glucan to broiler diet improves the survival rate and feed conversion rate of broilers. Therefore, β-glucan can be a potential alternative to antibiotics to improve the survival and performance of broilers.
  • AMPHILECTIN liquid also provides adequate concentration of prebiotics represented by Xylooligosaccharides (XOS). Prebiotics may have beneficial effects on the animal’s physiology by selectively stimulating beneficial microbiota in the digestion system. This may have beneficial effects in reducing the incidence of enteric pathogens.
  • The major advantages of XOS consumption, apart from selective growth stimulation of beneficial gut microflora, include reduction of blood glucose and cholesterol, reduced pro-carcinogenic enzymes in gastrointestinal tract, enhanced mineral absorption from large intestine and immune-stimulation.
